Hello Parents;

Thank you for considering enrolling your son/daughter in my HSPT prep course beginning the week of Sept.15th, 2024.

As a former Duke University graduate, and high school math teacher, coach, and counselor at Brophy College Prep for 15 years, I have assisted many students since 1998 with the Catholic high school and college admissions processes. As an independent tutor and consultant, 93% of my students have been admitted to the Catholic high school of their choice. Scoring high on the HSPT enables students to be not only be admitted to XCP/BCP/Notre Dame, etc. but to also be placed into Honors and Advanced Placement courses.

We meet once weekly for for 10 weeks for 1.5 hours each, and work on all areas of practice tests. My course emphasizes math, reading, grammar skills, and anxiety reduction. Timing, as well as accuracy, is of essence. Prep materials come from 4 different prep books, and I provide a folder of 100+ pages of additional prep and homework material.

Essay writing lessons are included, and for Brophy Prep and Notre Dame Prep, interview and video skills are discussed.

We meet in a small group setting- (6 students max), vs. a large classroom setting, and students are encouraged to ask questions and discuss their responses. Some weekday and weekend classes are still available, but filling up quickly. The course availability listings are on the Class Schedules page.

The 10 week course costs $650. Zelle is the preferred payment method, but other forms of payment are accepted. Any and all unused lessons are fully refundable for whatever reason.
